Gamble on You
The closer I get to fulfilling my purpose, the more I realize the importance of believing in myself.
For years I’ve looked for other people’s approval to validate my own accomplishments. And to be honest, I can’t find a single legitimate reason why I even gave a damn what others thought. I’m 96% sure that the self help book I just finished reading has helped me to reach this level of “fuck-everyone-else’s-opinions”. The other 4% of my brain is probably just beginning to realize that the exact people that I use to crave validation from were just waiting to prey on impressionable people like my former self. Tenacious, determined, and ready to do anything to become the best. Anything EXCEPT be anyone’s goofy.
Word to the wise, DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO CLOUT! You have the power to be just as good, if not better, than the people you look up to. BUTTT you have to grind and have faith that your time is coming, because it is. When it seems as though no one believes in you, YOU have to believe in YOU. If success was easy to attain, everyone would be riding around in a Tesla. The storm you’re going through now was created to water the seed that’s about to blossom. I can think of about 30 more clever cliches to try and convince you to trust in your own personal journey, but it’s up to YOU to truly believe in your awesomeness in order to reach your full potential. Start reprogramming your mind now!
P.S.
I recommend everyone reading this post to get the book You are a Badass by Jen Sincero. Find it & read that shit ASAP!
