Escaping Death

Now I know y’all probably think I’m being extra with this caption but seriously the location for this shoot was nothing short of a death trap, well for me at least it was. I’m sure the dress and flip flops that I wore this day were not really conducive to the environment either. No exaggeration, I’m still shaking sand out the soles of my slides.

Sooo…fun and joy to say the very least.

This open dirt bike field was extremely steep and nested directly underneath the hot sun. To get in the center of the field I was advised to run down the steep hill and catch myself at the end (inserts confused emoji) “Ummm…. excuse me??” “Do I look like Sonic to y’all??” Mind you, the sandals I’m photographed in below are a total contrast from the platform heels I initially planned to sashay around in. Thank God I brought my back ups, I can see the hospital bills now!

Note to self: Make sure to do a test shoot prior to the day of the actual photo shoot and bring a pair of gym shoes just in case!
