New Year, Better Me

With us coming into the new year, I know everyone is tired of hearing the "new year, new me" bull so I'll spare you guys. But for 2018 my main goal is to find opportunities for growth within myself and focus on strengthening those weak areas. One thing I came to realize is that I really don't like going to major outings on my own. There has been far too many times that I've missed out on possible networking opportunities because I didn't have anyone to go with. 

So to combat that I decided to buy tickets to a fashion show and ride solo dolo. I attended "The Light Fashion Show" presented by Almvghty and had a ball,  A L L   B Y   M Y S E L F!  The scenery and ambiance was decent as hell, I was able to drink, eat light refreshments, shop, and to top it off I was able to do a little networking while I was there. It was definitely a night to remember for me, especially because on a grander scheme of things, this venture allowed for me to reclaim my independence. Nonetheless,  I'm super excited to see what they have to offer at next year's gala!
